Over two million people in the UK now hold CLAiT certificates, making CLAiT the benchmark qualification in IT.

OCR Level 1 Certificate/Diploma for IT Users (New CLAiT) is a qualification designed to recognise the skills, knowledge and understanding of IT users everywhere, whether in employment, education or training.

New CLAiT is suitable for beginners looking to boost their IT confidence. Candidates can choose to achieve single units, a certificate or diploma and will receive a certificate for whichever option they achieve. For a certificate they must achieve three units and for a diploma they must achieve five; both options must include the mandatory unit.

Candidates have the choice of achieving as many or as few units as are appropriate for their own learning needs or employment situation.
