Paignton Sec Info Tech Training Centre (formally Paignton Secretarial College) was established in 1965, at Parkside Road Paignton. It moved to it's present location in 1985. Started originally by Mrs. Flood (Bobby) it is still run today by the same family. The attractive sandstone building is only 300 metres from Paignton Town Centre, within easy access of both the bus and railway stations.
Training concentrates on the use of Information Technology, particularly for administration, accounting and business information management. Courses range from the very basic, for students new to computers and office procedure, right up to advanced level administration and computerisation. Training is not just for those in work.
All classes are kept small with a low Student to Teacher ratio and teaching is designed for the needs and preferred learning styles of each student, encouraging everyone to reach the highest level of qualifications possible
We also run courses for home users who wish to develop their computer skills. A range of evening classes are offered for this purpose.
